ALANAR , name of our company is made up of two Turkish words, "ALA" which means "Wonderful , Excellent, Superior", and " NAR" which means "POMEGRANATE". Nar symbolizes high yield in our culture. So Alanar means "Wonderful Pomegranate" and better yield & plentifulness.

We started growing Wonderful variety since 2008 in Turkey. We are the first one to start growing Wonderful and there are only a few growers who have this variety as we supplied the nursery trees to them.

HICAZ variety Pomegranate is the dominant and most popular variety grown in Turkey. Alanar pomegranades are exported to EU, Far East and Canada markets.

Alanar’s world famous award winning cherries are grown in our fertile orchards with modern methods, in different regions with respect to different altitudes. (Each 30 meter of height difference means one day delay in maturity of cherry.)

Alanar grows Regina, Kordia cherry varieties in its orchards and in its contractual growers’ orchards. Sorting and packaging is done in Alanar’s packing facility in the Manisa region of Turkey.

 

 

Since Alanar was acquired by Tekfen Group, ongoing investments continue to come true. Company starts to use high-end technology cherry sorting machine in its facilities in 2020 in order to provide best possible quality cherries to its business partners all around the world.

Cherry Production

Alanar has optic cherry packing machine which sorts cherries by color, size, internal and external defects. Process capacity of the machine is 10-12 tons/hour.

Patented Apricot

With its yellow, orange and pink blush, rich antioxidant content, fibrous texture and long shelf life...

There are two different lines of apricot export business for Alanar. First is Alanar Fruit Company grows and exports patented Apricot varieties of American and French origin.

Alanar has already planted more than 55.000 apricot trees in 3 different climatic regions with increasing annual yield of 2000 tons/season. As the second line, local Malatya - Hacihalilogu variety which is characteristic to Turkey. It is 30-35 mm diameter, mini size apricot, with intensive apricot aroma and 23-24° Brix, sweet taste and pink blush on the surface.

Apricots all over the world gains popularity not only for the taste and appeal but also for health benefits. Apricots are rich of vitamins, minerals , especially fibers. Alanar has high capacity, optical sorting machinery to pack consistently high quality apricots.

Japanese Plums/

The Greatest Alanar Japanese PIums with its different assortments, taste, size and colours.

Alanar grows approximately 1000 tons of Japanese plums in a year with its more than 10 patented varieties. Japanese plum varieties which were brought from Israel and South Africa are demanded by elite supermarkets in Europe and Far East.

By following this demand we are increasing our export capacity since 2006. We have prolonged the harvest season with our early and late sorts by growing in high and low altitude. The production is between July and August.

By using post-harvest technologies we can keep storing and presenting to our customers until October.

Bursa BlackFig

Alanar is the Largest black fig exporter of Turkey.

Alanar is the largest Black Fig exporter of Turkey. Bursa Black variety has the best quality and taste, high brix level and also long shelf life at the stores. Our black figs are grown in Bursa region and we export 2.000 tons annually.

Alanar is looking forward to grow approximately 6.000 tons of figs in its own orchards by 2025 via the revolutionary fig plantation process going on. Company will be using a recently invested most advanced technology fig sorting machine in its new facility in Bursa region.
